Simply Strings began in 2019 when 3 high school friends decided to share their love of string music in their Ponte Vedra Beach community. Simply Strings became a quartet in 2021, and while some of the faces have changed, the desire to share our love of music has not.

The Founders:

Anne was a Senior at Ponte Vedra High School when she helped establish Simply Strings. Anne had been playing violin for over 9 years. She has since moved on to college and is attending the University of Florida.

Emily, Anne’s younger sister who was also attending PVHS, had been playing cello since the 4th grade. Emily has since moved on to college and is also attending the University of Florida.

Natalie and Emily graduated the same year at PVHS. Natalie started playing the violin when she was 6 years old. She is now a student at Florida State University.
